TEWKSBURY FAMILY REUNION
WINDHAVEN, North Wilmot, NH
JULY 19 - 20, 2003
SATURDAY, JULY 19 - FELLOWSHIP DAY
It would be wonderful to have 51 people (in
honor of our 51st anniversary) spend the weekend at Windhaven. Some ideas
to pass the time would be a hike up Mt. Kearsarge with a picnic lunch at
the top. At the homestead there are horseshoes, baseball, basketball,
croquet, Frisbee golf and volleyball, a “piñata” for the little ones, a
treasure hunt for the middle ones, and a scavenger hunt for the young
teens. There are also puppet making supplies for a fun project (for the
kids or kids at heart). Saturday night it might be fun to have a good old
fashioned 50's picnic with burgers, hot dogs and potato salad. If enough
of us dress the part (poodle skirts, loafers and tee shirts) maybe a prize
will be awarded for the best 1950's look! As always there is swimming and
a campfire to tell stories around (if permitted), but most importantly a
day of family togetherness. Remember to bring food, pictures, stories and
your “family cheat sheet” to share. For more information contact Doug
Tewksbury at dtewks@dhmftfa.org or Francis Tewksbury at

reunion is expected to bring about 100 relatives together. It will be held on
July 18 and 19 in Wilmot, NH. There is no cost to attend the reunion. The
homestead has been maintained in a "rustic" manner to preserve the feel of the
times when David and Mary lived there. On Sunday the 19th there is a buffet

picnic. Afterwards, there is a business meeting to conduct affairs of the
Tewksbury Family Association. The meeting is held outside unless the weather
