2005 Tewksbury Queries
I am looking for Janet Tewksbury, around 50 + yrs old. She and I were Peace Corps Volunteers in Morocco in the 70's. We've lost touch and I would dearly love to contact her. Many thanks if anyone can help
A few days ago I found all the ancestors of the Atkinson Maine Tewkesbury people at a website; this seemed to be a good Tewkesbury pedigree; unfortunately I didn't write down the website address; now I can find it. You most certainly should have how to access this important information on your website. I am descended from Martha Copp Harvey; six or so Harvey brothers and sisters landed in Atkinson ME along with some of their 1/2 cousins the Tewkesburys. I have census records but I can't tie them together or figure out their ancestry.
I found the Atkinson ME material at the Mormon family history site. I have Daniel's, son of Phillip, family. My uncle and his cousin Freddie Hesketh and Annie Swazie did the Martha Copp - Harvey family in Atkinson ME; we have done the three sisters since and more. It is in the Library of Congress, Maine State Library and NE Gen Hist Soc. Lib. Also the Dover-Foxcroft ME Thompson Free Library has it; my Tewksbury info will go there soon. JDH

Robert had a sister, Barbara, and their parents were Henry and Ester Anderson and Esters parents were John and Ellen Anderson. Ester had a brother, John and his wife's name was/is Anna. My mother was born in Tewksbury on June 28th 1922. I have this information on her adoption papers. She never knew her natural parents or looked, to her it was hush hush. She was adopted by John and Mary Martin of Neponset Mass. I believe at the age of 4. My mom has since passed away and I do not know where to look for answers....any help? Her name on the birth record was Alexandria Dorothy Brennan.

My wife's maiden name is HOVEY and she is in the line of LeRoy Farley Hovey (born 1847) who married Sarah Frances Tewkesbury on 25 April 1877. She is the daughter of James Winthrop Tewkesbury. Would like to hear from anyone about additional family information.
